Michael Baron, the owner of Western Pacific, a full service, landscape company serving the San Marino, Pasadena and surrounding areas for many years, has over twenty years experience in the landscape industry and adheres to the traditional belief that quality service and products are the only way you gain respect from customers and no compromises will be made with their ponds and waterfalls. "We have hired on an experienced designer and installer for our new pond and waterfall division", says Mike, "And I think it’s a great way to start off the new year."

Mike’s views as a landscaper go beyond even just the appreciation for beauty that a well designed landscape adds to the environment. He knows that landscaping is as vital to our ecosystem as any forest or wetland. As an example, an average front lawn has the cooling effect of ten tons of air conditioning while absorbing air pollution. One tree consumes 26 lbs. of carbon dioxide each year.

"We will be utilizing ‘state of the art’ equipment for our water features and look forward to adding even more beauty and value to peoples’ landscapes," says Mike. The soothing sound of a gentle cascading waterfall in a yard is a unique feature and brings one closer to nature. You can add fish, plants, whatever suits you. Once a pond is established, a whole ecosystem is created and they require very minimal maintenance.
