The California Art Club’s 97th annual gold medal juried exhibition will be on display at the Pasadena Museum of California Art, 490 East Union Street in Pasadena from Sunday, April 27, through Sunday, May 18. Exhibition hours Wednesday through Sunday from 12 noon to 5 p.m. The California Art Club’s much-anticipated annual exhibition of contemporary-traditional fine arts – the 97th Annual Gold Medal Juried Exhibition – will showcase new works from the nation’s leading traditional fine artists and celebrate California Impressionism, the artistic movement that has been attributed to the Club’s founding members nearly a century ago.
A closing tour and membership open house is scheduled for Sunday, May 18, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., where Gold Medal artists will lead mini-tours of the exhibition and representatives from the Club and the Museum will be on hand to discuss membership opportunities with both organizations.
