Sierra Madre’s Art Fair Features Artists, Musicians
ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT
The 46th Annual Sierra Madre Art Fair is proud to offer the exceptional work of about 100 internationally and locally known fine artists and musicians. Scheduled for Saturday May 17, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday May 18, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Memorial Park, 220 W. Sierra Madre Blvd.
The featured artists this year are Fox and Lois Garney from Cambria. Fox and Lois have been collaborating on ceramic pieces since 1972.
Two local Sierra Madre artists will feature their art: Myra Epstein brings vibrant colors to still-life watercolors that range from reflections on the English countryside to the diversity of Southern California; and Carolyn Gravatte captures local village scenes and landscapes in oil on canvas. Other art mediums represented are jewelry, weaving, hand-painted silks, glass, acrylics, metal art, wood, ceramics, sculpture and photography.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Sierra Madre Library, the Art Fair is one of Southern California’s oldest and most prestigious Art Fairs. For further information, contact Sharon Murphy@ (626) 355-3977; or go to sierramadreartfair.com.
