Library Issued 448 Cards to Non-Residents In May
SAN MARINO NEWS
By Mitch Lehman San Marino’s Crowell Public Library issued 448 cards in May to users who live outside the city limits, according to Cindy Collins, Assistant City Manager and Interim Director of the Public Library.
Collins reported that there are currently 25,648 library cards in circulation – 14,513 which are issued to non-residents.
Between 1,200 – 1,500 people use the facility on a daily basis, but those totals are estimates, according to Collins, and 60% of all materials checked out of the library are borrowed by residents of San Marino.
