• The San Marino City Council on Friday morning unanimously passed an emergency ordinance prohibiting approval of any permit or entitlement to develop property designated commercial in the land use element of the General Plan and zoned R-1 in response to a controversial application by a developer to build a nine-unit condominium complex at 415 Huntington Drive – former site of East West Bank headquarters and prior, Avery Labels.
