San Marino National Little Leaguer Alison Day was named the 2010 recipient of the Courtney A. Miller Spirit Award at closing ceremonies last month. Alison has played seven seasons, two years each at the Farm, Minors and Majors levels.

This season, with SMNLL not fielding a Juniors team, Alison’s desire to continue her softball career in Little League resulted in a joint team being formed with players from surrounding areas, allowing her to continue playing the game she loves.
