• Memorial Day at Lacy Park


    The City of San Marino will once again acknowledge Memorial Day with a ceremony in Lacy Park beginning at 9:00 a.m.
    The public is welcome and there is no fee to enter the park for this service.

    *Two San Marino High School Eagle Scouts – Brian and Thomas Rogers - will be leading the assemblage in the Pledge of Allegiance. This past
    fall, Brian and Thomas led a successful campaign to return the Pledge of Allegiance to the daily schedule at SMHS.
    *San Marino High School graduate Jay Davis will provide a brief explanation of the ‘Stars & Stripes Club’ he founded at SMHS.
    *San Marino Veteran Bob Dini, who performed with Eddie Fisher, will sing the National Anthem and other patriotic selections.
    *Longtime San Marino resident and Vietnam Veteran Joseph Edwards will present the keynote address.
    *San Marino High School graduate Lianna Gutierrez will perform ‘God Bless America.’
    *All Veterans in attendance will be recognized.
    *San Marino resident and former Sheriff Lee Baca will memorialize our
    city’s war dead.
