• Man Killed After His Car Runs Off Pasadena Freeway

PASADENA (CNS) – A 27-year-old man was killed when his car ran off a freeway in Pasadena, authorities said today.

The victim’s car ran off the southbound Long Beach (710) Freeway stub at Colorado Boulevard around 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, California Highway Patrol Officer Tony Polizzi said.

Joshua Andrew Wilkins of Los Angeles died at the scene, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter.

Wilkins’ 2002 Honda Accord came to rest on an embankment near a surface street. There were no other occupants, Polizzi said. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
