• Chamber Hosts 16th Annual ‘Evening at The Huntington’

The San Marino Chamber of Commerce is excited to present this year’s 16th annual Evening at The Huntington, slated for Thursday, May 15 from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m.

The San Marino Tribune is  the exclusive media sponsor of the event and is graciously providing all advertising for the Evening at the Huntington.

This is an evening every San Marino resident won’t want to miss.  Attendees have the opportunity to sample delicious food, purchase raffle tickets and participate in a silent auction while enjoying the sounds of ‘Shall We Dance Entertainment,’  Back by popular demand, ‘King of Cuisine’ Peter Dills will serve as  honorary host and judge for the ‘Best Of’ awards.

Chair Diana Doi says “Last year over 250 guests attended the event, which wouldn’t even be possible without the continued enthusiastic financial support of our sponsors, restaurant and beverage vendors.”

Two longtime Chamber members are again sponsoring the event:  California American Water Company – the source of San Marino’s drinking water  has been a Chamber member for 54 years and an event sponsor the past 3 years.  Until 2006, their offices were located on Huntington Drive in the heart of San Marino. Since moving, Cal-Am has continued to be a strong presence in the community with involvement in several civic organizations. Cal-Am has hosted a beverage booth every year since the event began. Look for them again this year. Ellen’s Silkscreening, owned by Ellen Daigle since 1978, Ellen’s Silkscreening has been a San Marino Chamber of Commerce member for many years, and has been a constant supporter of the San Marino community. She has been an event sponsor for many years, served on the event Committee as well as committee chair for 2 years.

Yoshi Okatomi, from local restaurant, Sushi Bar Yoshida will once again be serving up sushi at this year’s event.
