• Coldwell Banker Commercial Alliance Represents Two Churches in Arcadia Property Sale

Bill Ukropina and Chalvis Evans of Coldwell Banker Commercial Alliance (CBC Alliance) represented both the buyer and the seller – both local churches – in a 2.79-acre transaction in Arcadia.

The Mandarin Baptist Church of Pasadena purchased the property, which includes 18,454 square feet of buildings and a beautiful sanctuary with 50-foot ceilings and seating for 485.  The sanctuary also features a state-of-the-art pipe organ and sound system.  The property was listed for sale at $9 million by Bill Ukropina.  Chalvis Evans, also of CBC Alliance, represented the buyer, The Mandarin Baptist Church of Pasadena.

Carter Report’s Inc. purchased the property in 2000.   Rev. John Carter, founder of the Carter Report’s Inc., is known worldwide for his evangelism and has preached to over 100,000 people in Indonesia, plus has traveled to the Soviet Union more than 50 times.   The Carter Report is relocating to Moorpark.

“I am very pleased that our Church property was sold to the Mandarin Baptist Church of Pasadena,” Carter said.   “We received many offers from residential developers, but thanks to the efforts of Bill Ukropina, it is personally gratifying that he was able to identify another Church to purchase our property.”

Pastor Lee of the Mandarin Church of Pasadena was equally pleased.  “Our Church was extremely comfortable with Chalvis Evans and his team.  Chalvis is a true professional and trusted advisor,” Pastor Lee said.   “Our Church has over 420 members and we hope to expand our Ministry by acquiring this property.”  The Mandarin Baptist Church of Pasadena plans to conduct their first service in their new facility on Sunday, July 13, 2014.
