• Sketch Released of Man Who Attempted San Gabriel Kidnapping

SAN GABRIEL (CNS) – Sheriff’s detectives in San Gabriel yesterday released a sketch of man in a white Toyota Camry who tried to abduct a 15-year-old girl on her way home from school in San Gabriel.

The suspect was driving a 2011-13 model Camry when he came to abrupt stop on East Broadway, east of Walnut Grove Avenue, about 3:30 p.m. a week ago today and tried to hustle the girl into his car, according to sheriff’s Detective Juan Rivera at the Temple station. A stranger helped the girl get away from the man, he said.

Anyone with more information as to the name or whereabouts of the suspect was asked to call Rivera at (626) 292-3364.
