• Women Robbed at Knifepoint in Arcadia


    ARCADIA (CNS) – Two women were robbed at knifepoint in Arcadia today after returning from a casino in San Bernardino County, police said.

    The women were confronted by two men about 3 a.m. in the garage of a residence in the 200 block of El Dorado Street, according to the Arcadia Police Department.

    “One suspect threatened the women with a knife while the second suspect took a purse and cash from inside (their) car,” police said.

    One man was described as black, 25-35 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds. The other man was described as Hispanic, 25-30 years of age, 6 feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds.

    The men drove away in a copper-colored two-door Honda Accord, according to police.
