• Pasadena Police Request Help to Find Man Who Attempted Sexual Assault

PASADENA (CNS) – The Pasadena Police Department wants the public’s help in identifying a suspect who attempted to sexually assault a woman he approached on a street, officials said today.

The attack occurred around 8:55 p.m. Sunday at Hudson Avenue and Del Mar Boulevard, said Pasadena police Sgt. K. Favara.

“The suspect approached a lone Pasadena woman as she was walking home and attempted to sexually assault her,” added Pasadena police Lt. Vasken Gourdikian. “A passerby frightened the suspect off who fled the area on foot.”

The suspect is described as a white or Middle Eastern man, 35 to 40 years old, about 6 feet tall with a full beard and hair pulled back in a pony tail. Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to call the watch commander at (626) 744-4620.
