In lieu of a community recreation center, swimming pool, gym at
Huntington Middle School or acres of public soccer fields, there will be
goat petting on Friday and Saturday in the median
strip of Old Mill Rd., just south of Monterey.
But don’t deter them from their appointed rounds! The goats are here on
business, hired to munch excess vegetation from the overgrown brush area
that is known to be frequented by coyotes – a natural enemy to the goat.
