• Former L.A. Laker and Kardashian Husband Lamar Odom Arrested

STUDIO CITY (CNS) – Former L.A. Clipper and L.A. Laker Lamar Odom was arrested early this morning after his SUV was seen weaving on the eastbound Ventura (101) Freeway and he failed a field sobriety test, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Odom was pulled over just as he exited the Coldwater Canyon exit off the Ventura (101) Freeway in Studio City just before 4 a.m., according to the CHP.

A CHP’s arrest report says the 33-year-old Odom was driving his white Mercedes SUV in a “serpentine manner at 50 miles per hour.” A CHP officer conducted a traffic stop when Odom exited the freeway.

Odom showed “objective signs of intoxication and was unable to perform field sobriety tests as explained and demonstrated,” the report stated.

Odom was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and was transported to the jail at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Van Nuys station. The basketball star refused all chemical tests, according to the report.

His bail was set at $15,000 and as of 8:30 a.m. Odom had yet to be released, according to L.A. County jail records.

Odom’s arrest comes amid a spate of news stories about his alleged drug use and troubles in his marrage to Khloe Kardashian.
