• Please Lock Your Doors: Multiple Pasadena Burglaries Reported

PASADENA (CNS) – A series of burglaries have been reported this month in Pasadena, with thieves making off with electronics and jewelry, police warned residents today.

At least seven homes were burglarized this month between Lake Avenue and Martello Avenue north of Orange Grove Boulevard, according to the Pasadena Police Department.

During one of the robberies, two black males were seen, police said. Both men were in their 20s, one was 5 feet 8 inches tall, thin, and wearing a light-colored “Harvard” t-shirt and the other was 5 feet 10 inches tall, thin, and wearing a red t-shirt and olive cargo shorts.

On another occasion a Hispanic or Armenian female in her 20s with black hair worn in a ponytail was seen taking recently delivered packages from a front porch, police said. She got into a red, four-door vehicle with black and yellow dealer paper plates. The vehicle was driven by a male.

Most of the burglaries were during the day and early evening, with some taking place within two to three hours of the victims leaving their homes, police said. Suspects may be in the area watching and waiting for the victims to leave, police said.

Authorities urged residents to lock doors and windows when leaving home.
