• San Gabriel Death May Have Been Part of Murder-Attempted Suicide


    A Hispanic woman who was killed this morning in the 8100 block of Celito
    Drive in San Gabriel might have been the victim of a murder – attempted
    suicide, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

    Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into
    the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of the woman.

    Station deputies responded to the location answering the call of a gun
    shot victim. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a Hispanic couple, both
    having suffered from gunshot wounds. 

The woman was pronounced dead at
    the scene and the man was transported to a local hospital where his
    condition is unknown.

    Homicide detectives have since learned that the victims were involved
    in a relationship and had a child together. The incident is currently
    being investigated as a murder-attempted suicide investigation.
