• 405 Freeway Closure

LOS ANGELES (CNS) – The northbound San Diego (405) Freeway will be closed late tonight between Montana Avenue and Moraga Drive as part of the continuing Sepulveda Pass construction project.

The closure will allow crews to cut and remove asphalt, shift K-rails, repave and re-stripe the freeway, according to Metro, which is overseeing the construction.

The freeway will close around midnight and reopen by 7 a.m. Sunday.

Northbound motorists will be detoured off the freeway at Montana Avenue and directed to northbound Sepulveda Boulevard. Motorists can re-enter the freeway at Moraga Drive.
