• Dodgers Will Honor U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman


    LOS ANGELES (CNS) – U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Bryan Artiles of Burbank will be honored as the Veteran of the Game tonight when the Los Angeles Dodgers face the Atlanta Braves at Dodger Stadium.

    Artiles is a specialist in treating combat traumas. He is assigned to the 1st Battalion 1st Marines based at Camp Pendleton.

    Artiles recently returned from service in Afghanistan. His honors include the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, NATO Medal and Afghan Campaign Medal.

    Artiles’ honor coincides with the 22nd annual City of Burbank Dodger Night, with Mayor Emily Gabel-Luddy scheduled to throw a ceremonial first pitch.
