• Man Shot to Death Inside Alhambra Police Station


    ALHAMBRA (CNS) – A man was shot to death by police today inside the Alhambra police station, authorities said.

    The shooting was reported about 7:30 a.m. in the 200 block of South First Street, said sheriff’s Deputy Guillermina Saldana. No officers were hurt.

    The wounded person died at the scene, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter. His name was not immediately released.

    Officials did not immediately release details of the shooting.

    Sheriff’s detectives were assisting Alhambra police in the investigation.
