• Firefighters Extinguish Pasadena Grass Fire

PASADENA (CNS) – Firefighters today quickly extinguished a one-acre grass fire on the grounds of a Pasadena house that was badly damaged in a fire several years ago and was once used in a Batman movie, authorities said.

Firefighters sent to 160 S. San Rafael Ave. about 1 p.m. doused the flames before they reached the structure, said Lisa Derderian of the Pasadena Fire Department.

The cause of the blaze was not immediately known.
