• Motorcyclist Death in Pasadena


    PASADENA (CNS) – A 37-year-old motorcyclist was killed when his bike rear-ended a sport utility vehicle on the Foothill (210) Freeway in Pasadena, the California Highway Patrol said today.

    The crash on the eastbound 210 east of Lake Avenue was reported to the CHP at 3:45 p.m. Saturday, according to CHP reports.

    Leo D. Villalobos Jr. was speeding on a 2008 Harley Davidson Softtail in the carpool lane and he failed to see a 1997 Mitsubishi Montero slowing to stop for traffic and rear ended it, according to the CHP.

    Villalobos was wearing an unapproved helmet and was ejected from his Harley. He was killed inthe impact.

    The CHP’s reports did not indicate if the motorist in the Mitsubishi, a 38-year-old woman from Pomona, was injured in the crash.
