• Pasadena Police to Conduct Traffic Enforcement

PASADENA (CNS) – The Pasadena Police Department will conduct traffic enforcement at high collision intersections throughout the city from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday.

The department is committed to reducing the number of traffic collisions caused by drivers running red lights or driving aggressively through intersections, Lt. Pete Hettema said. The ultimate goals are to enforce laws, educate drivers and reducing serious injuries and fatal collisions, Hettema said.

Funding for the program was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
