• No One Injured in Pasadena Fire This Morning

PASADENA (CNS) – A fire damaged a one-story house in Pasadena this morning, but no one was injured, a dispatcher said.

The fire at 1575 Las Lunas Street was reported at 1:15 a.m. and knocked down by 1:37 a.m., said a dispatcher with the Verdugo Fire Communications Center, which serves Pasadena and neighboring communities. Around 30 Pasadena firefighters responded, she said.

Flames could be seen shooting out of the roof and windows into the night sky, and the home sustained heavy damage, a news photographer reported from the scene.

Authorities did not immediately report if anyone was displaced.
