• Pasadena Teen Who Committed Suicide is Identified


    LA CANADA FLINTRIDGE (CNS) – A teenage boy who apparently committed suicide by jumping from the library at La Canada High School Friday afternoon was identified today.

    Campbell Taylor, 17, of Pasadena, died in the fall, coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter said. The death was being investigated as an apparent suicide, he said.

    Taylor apparently jumped about 4 p.m. Friday at the school at 4463 Oak Grove Drive and was declared dead about 15 minutes later, sheriffs’ Lt. Brian Fitch of the Crescenta Valley Station said.
