• Detectives Investigate Death of Pasadena Man


    PASADENA (CNS) – Detectives today were investigating the fatal shooting in Pasadena of a man in his 30s, police said.

    Officers responded at 8:42 p.m. to a report of shots fired in the 600 block of North Mar Vista Avenue near East Orange Grove Boulevard, said Pasadena police Lt. Ed Calatayud.

    The victim, a man in his 30s whose name was withheld pending family notification, was pronounced dead at the scene, Calatayud said. The man was found between the sidewalk and curb in front of a house, he said.

    Police cordoned off the area around the shooting scene between North Maple Street and East Orange Grove Boulevard, Calatayud said.
