PASADENA (CNS) – Several streets near the Rose Bowl will be closed Sunday morning during the second annual Kaiser Permanente Rock ‘n Roll Pasadena Half Marathon.
The event, includes a half- and a mini-marathon, a health and fitness expo and a post-race concert featuring the hip hop group Far East Movement.
Proceeds will benefit CureMito!, a nonprofit group that supports people with and raises money for research into the cell disorder known as mitochondrial disease.
Sections of Arroyo and Colorado boulevards, Lake and Wilson avenues and the State Route 134 on- and off-ramps at Orange Grove Avenue are among the streets that will be blocked during the race, which begins and ends at the Rose Bowl.
The street closures will remain in effect from about sunrise Sunday until noon.
