• House in Pasadena Struck by Pickup Truck

PASADENA (CNS) – Firefighters shored up the front wall of a house in Pasadena this morning after it was struck by a pickup truck in a single-vehicle crash that injured the truck’s driver.

The driver suffered minor to moderate injuries in the crash, which was reported at 11:11 p.m. Wednesday at 136 E. Washington Blvd., said Pasadena police Sgt. Roger Roldan. No one inside the house was hurt, he said.

The driver was taken to a hospital and firefighters used wood beams and boards to shore up and cover the front wall of the house, reported a news photographer at the scene.

The full extent of the damage to the house was not immediately clear and the cause of the crash was under investigation, Roldan said.
