• List of the Worst Films of the Year

LOS ANGELES (CNS) – There are only 10 categories in the annual Razzie Awards — an Oscar send-up dishonoring the year’s worst in cinema — but the final installment of the “Twilight” film series will carry 11 nominations into next month’s ceremony.

“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part II” earned nominations in every category, including two nods for “worst screen couple.”

The film will compete for worst picture with “Battleship,” “The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure,” Adam Sandler’s “That’s My Boy” and Eddie Murphy’s “A Thousand Words.”

Sandler made Razzie history last year, when he or his film “Jack & Jill” claimed prizes in every category.

Sandler is nominated again this year for worst actor for “That’s My Boy,” along with Nicolas Cage for  ”Ghost Rider 2: Spirit of Vengeance” and “Seeking Justice,” Murphy for “A Thousand Words,” Robert Pattinson for “Twilight” and Tyler Perry for both “Alex Cross” and “Good Deeds.”

Perry, thanks to his performance in drag in “Madea’s Witness Protection,” was also nominated for worst actress, along with Katherine Heigl for “One for the Money,” Milla Jovovich for “Resident Evil: Retribution,” Kristen Stewart for “Twilight” and “Snow White and the Huntsman” and Barbra Streisand for “The Guilt Trip.”

The Razzies, handed out by the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation, will be presented Feb. 23, the night before the Academy Awards. “Winners” receive the dubious prize of a $4.97 spray-painted trophy.
