• Twilight Expected to be One of Biggest Grossing Hollywood Movies Ever

LOS ANGELES (CNS) – Teenage girls and young women are flocking to the nation’s multiplexes this weekend, as “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2″ is expected to open as the sixth-biggest-grossing movie in the history of Hollywood premieres.

Movie analyst Paul Dergerabedian said the film is expected to gross $162.2 million for its studio, Summit Entertainment, which is a Lionsgate company.

On Thursday night alone, the film grossed $30.4 million, the studio reported.

That puts the movie in the number six position for all-time highest openings, behind the final Harry Potter movie, “The Avengers,” “The Dark Knight Rises,” and two previous Twilight Saga entries.
