ALHAMBRA (CNS) – An Alhambra apartment caught fire overnight, and three people were taken to hospitals today.
The fire at 1129 S. Almansor St. was reported about 12:30 a.m., Alhambra Assistant Fire Chief Ray Mosack said.
Arriving firefighters reported smoke, then flames, coming from windows and attic vents, he said.
Alhambra firefighters put out the fire in about 30 minutes, Mosack said.
Three people were taken to hospitals, he said, but gave no information about the nature of their injuries. A fourth person treated at the scene declined being taken to a hospital. How the fire started, if known, was not made available.
