• The Arcadia Police Department Traffic Bureau will be conducting sobriety checkpoints at multiple locations within the city on Saturday, December 1st, 2012. We would like to remind the public of the dangers associated with drinking and driving. It simply is not worth it to drive while impaired.     Lake Avenue Church will sponsor several musical events during the Christmas season, including children’s programs, a Messiah Sing-Along, and candlelight services. These events are:

    Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich officially kicked off the holiday season in Los Angeles County with the annual lighting of the County Christmas Tree – continuing a special tradition begun by late Supervisor Kenneth Hahn in honor of the County’s children.
