• Pasadena Police Investigate Shooting

PASADENA (CNS) – Pasadena police today investigated a shooting that left a man with a hand wound.

Officers were sent to the area of Sunset Avenue and Washington Boulevard about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday on a report of shots fired, said Pasadena police Lt. Tracey Ibarra.

“Witnesses … reported seeing suspects near the intersection shooting at a passing car,” Ibarra said. “One victim called police reporting her vehicle was struck by gunfire (but) she was not injured.”

While officers were doing their investigation, police got a report of a man with a bullet wound to a hand showing up at a hospital, Ibarra said.

“Officers responded to the hospital and contacted the victim,” Ibarra said. “The victim was uncooperative and provided vague information about the incident.”
