PASADENA (CNS) – Authorities today identified a 65-year-old woman who died shortly after she became ill while driving on a downtown Pasadena street, and pulled over and stopped.

The woman was driving along Green Street, between Orange Grove Boulevard and Grand Avenue, about 4:50 p.m. Saturday with a friend when she became ill and decided to pull over, said Pasadena police Lt. Diego Torres.

She got of her sedan and then collapsed and died at the scene, Torres said. She was identified today as Linda Tsui of Altadena, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter. The cause of death was not immediately known.
