• Please Help Alhambra Police Find Hit-and-Run Driver


    ALHAMBRA (CNS) – A 44-year-old man on a bicycle suffered critical injuries when he was struck by a motorist while riding on the wrong side of the road in Alhambra, police said today.

    The motorist, a 25-year-old man driving a Mercedes-Benz sedan, was not cited or arrested, said Alhambra police Lt. Jennifer Wiese.

    The crash occurred about 12:45 p.m. Saturday near Palm Avenue and Main Street, Wiese said.

    The driver, Martin Andino, was making a left turn from northbound Raymond Avenue to Main Street when he struck the 44-year-old man riding his bicycle on the wrong side of the road, she said.

    Paramedics rushed the man to an area hospital in critical condition, Wiese said.

    Alhambra police asked anyone who saw the crash to call them at (626) 570- 5130.
