The San Marino Planning Commission last week voted to postpone until Tuesday, November 13 a special meeting called for the express purpose of hearing arguments regarding the Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Garden’s proposed expansion to their visitor’s center and entrance.
The meeting was originally scheduled for next Tuesday in the Webb Theatre at San Marino High School. David Saldaña, city planning director, said the November meeting will most likely be held in the Kenneth F. White Auditorium at Huntington Middle School.
Saldaña also mentioned that all residents living within 1,000 feet of The Huntington will be notified of the meeting and similar messages will be transmitted to anyone who has requested the information or pulled a card to speak on the matter at a previous gathering, including attorneys representing multiple landowners surrounding the historic library as well as a group calling themselves the South Allen Neighborhood Association.
