• Pasadena Assault


    PASADENA (CNS) – A transient arrested for allegedly knocking out another man in a Friday night fight in Pasadena’s Central Park was behind bars today and facing a possible attempted murder charge.

    Bartholomew Ceremony, 42, was booked on suspicion of attempted murder, after the 6:40 p.m. fight in which the other man was hit in the head with a bicycle lock or some other object that left him unconscious, police said.

    Ceremony, described by police as a transient, was treated for lesser injuries, and jailed in lieu of $1 million bail.

    The name of the victim, a man in his 30s, was unavailable. Police said he was initially listed in critical condition.
