• Pasadena Shooting


    PASADENA (CNS) – A 30-year-old man was hospitalized today after being shot during what police believe was a robbery in a residential neighborhood in Pasadena.

    The shooting occurred in the garage area behind a single-family home on Eloise Avenue, between Colorado Boulevard and Walnut Street, around 10:20 p.m. Wednesday, said Pasadena police Lt. Pete Hettema.

    The victim was shot twice, with at least one round striking him around the head, but he was expected to survive, Hettema said.

    Police were looking for three men, he said, adding that no vehicle was spotted leaving the scene.

    Investigators were trying to determine what, if anything, was taken from the victim, he said.
