• ANTONOVICH TO DEDICATE NEW AQUATIC CENTER AT ARCADIA COUNTY PARK

ARCADIA – Supervisor Mike Antonovich will join the Department of Parks and Recreation, Department of Public Works and members of the community to celebrate the opening of the Norman S. Johnson Aquatic Center at Arcadia Community Regional County Park.

The almost 10 million dollar project includes a 6,150-square-foot competition swimming pool, a 6,300-square-foot recreation and therapy swimming pool with an integrated splash pool and a bathhouse building.

In addition to the new pool, attendees will have the opportunity to see an art exhibition and youth art mural, created by participants in the Theatre Of Hearts/Youth First Workshops, a program commissioned by the Civic Art Program of the Los Angeles County Arts Commission.
