• ‘Cal Phil at The Mill’ Opens This Saturday Evening

The Old Mill Foundation is pleased to announce that the Cal Phil at The Mill July 21st concert will present a Woodwind Quintet on the Pomegranate Patio at the Old Mill.  The California Philharmonic musicians performing include Michael Arnold, Carolyn Beck, Francisco Castillo, Paul Fried and Steve Kaminsky.

Cal Phil at The Mill brings California Philharmonic musicians to San Marino’s El Molino Viejo (The Old Mill) for intimate evenings of chamber music.  These concerts take place on the Pomegranate Patio surrounded by the Mill’s beautiful pomegranate trees and lush gardens.  In addition to enjoying the fine music, concertgoers are invited to view the building, learn about its history and enjoy the latest California Art Club exhibition, The California Coast in the Mill’s gallery.

Additional Cal Phil at The Mill concerts will be a String Quartet Saturday, August 4 and a Brass Quintet on Saturday, August 18. The music begins at 8PM with the grounds opening at 7:00PM.  Tickets will be $15.00 a seat with advance reservations and $20 at the door.  Call The Old Mill’s office between 1 and 4 PM for reservations, (626) 449-5458.
