• Garfield Elementary School Gives Away Books to Kids

ALHAMBRA – The Soroptimist Club of Alhambra, along with the Alhambra Police Department, took part this morning in a book giveaway for young children.

The book giveaway took place at Garfield Elementary School in Alhambra. Enthusiastic and photogenic children filled the playground and halls of the schools in the morning when they were not in the classroom. Thank you to all who participated in the event.

More on this story to come, hopefully with photos.
