The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wengert of Ames, Iowa.The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy J. Sloan of San Marino,California. The reception was held atThe Scottish Rite in Des Moines, Iowa immediately following the ceremony. Thewedding party included: Andrea Mallarino (Maid of Honor), Andrew Sloan (BestMan), Kathleen Sloan (Bridesmaid), Emily Wengert (Junior Maid of Honor), RyanWengert (Groomsman), Emerson Guerrero (Groomsman), Cory Bunch (Usher), MattDelinko (Usher), Mark Goodnight (Usher), Trevor Patch (Usher), Chris Yortsos(Usher), Kierstin Puckett (Flower Girl), and Robbie Wengert (Ring Bearer).

The couple spent their honeymoon on the islandof Turks and Caicos in the Caribbean. Ben and Alicia are making their home inAmes, Iowa where Alicia is teaching Kindergarten at St. Cecelia Catholic School,and Ben is working towards his PhD. in Mechanical Engineering at Iowa StateUniversity.
