• Fire Damage to Home in Pasadena

PASADENA (CNS) – A stubborn fire caused about $750,000 in damage today
to a three-story house in Pasadena, but no one was hurt, authorities said.
Firefighters sent to the 100 block of Sequoia Drive about 2 a.m.

extinguished the flames in about five hours and prevented them from spreading
to other structures, said Lisa Derderian of the Pasadena Fire Department.
The cause of the fire was under investigation. Damage was estimated at
$500,000 to the structure and $250, 000 to the contents, Derderian said.
