• Fatal Fire in Pasadena


    PASADENA (CNS) – A woman was found dead today at the scene of a fire in
    an apartment in Pasadena.
    Firefighters sent to the 100 block of South Meridith Avenue at 5:56 a.m.
    extinguished the flames in the two-story building and found the woman’s body,
    said Lisa Derderian of the Pasadena Fire Department.
    An autopsy will have to be conducted to determine the cause of death,
    said coroner’s Chief Craig Harvey. The name of the 28-year-old woman was
    withheld, pending notification of her relatives.
    The cause of the fire was under investigation. A damage estimate was not
    immediately available.
