• Angeloff Company President Dann Angeloff Appointed to Board of Directors


    LOS ANGELES – Special Olympics Southern California has appointed formerSan Marino resident Dann Angeloff, President of the Angeloff Company inLos Angeles, as the newest member of its board of directors. Angeloffrecently assumed the position and has begun a 3-year term.
    Since the early days of his career, he has been very interested inboard activity both as a director of many public and private companiesas well as being a founding member of the National Association ofCorporate Directors (NACD), a 11,000 membership group headquartered inWashington D.C. He is Chairman Emeritus of the Southern CaliforniaChapter of the NACD, after serving as President and Chairman.
    He currently is and has recently served on the following boards: Bjurman Barry Funds, Electronic Recyclers International,Nicholas-Applegate Growth Equity Fund, Public Storage, Ready Pac Foods,Retirement Capital and SoftBrands, Inc. He has served on over 50corporate boards during his career.
    Mr. Angeloff received his B.S. and M.B.A. degrees at the University ofSouthern California where he was a Trustee and President of the AlumniAssociation. He is a director of Marshall Leaders, Founding Chairmanof Marshall Partners and President-Elect of the Half Century Trojans.
    “We are fortunate to have someone of Dann’s caliber and professionalbackground joining us on the board,” said Tim Redmond, chairman of theboard of directors of Special Olympics Southern California. “Hisbusiness acumen coupled with his compassion for others will be agenuine asset to the organization.”
    Angeloff has two daughters, one son and has been married to his wifefor 47 years. The couple resides in Pasadena.
