• Dead Body Found in the Trash


    LOS ANGELES (CNS) – The coroner has identified the body of a young woman
    found Friday evening among trash at a sorting station in Wilmington.
    She was Latrecia Lavrea Hill, 24, of Long Beach. The cause of death was
    deferred pending the outcome of toxicology studies, said Lt. Joe Bale.
    Police were notified of the find in the 900 block of East E Street about
    6:15 p.m. Friday, but it was not immediately clear where the body was picked
    up. Garbage trucks from across the region use the facility.
