• Inaugural All-City Home Run Derby A Big Hit

    After almost five hours, thousands of pitches, hundreds ofhits and dozens of hamburgers, J.P. Paciorek, Hunter Kral and Caitlyn Callahanfinished 1-2-3 in the inaugural San Marino Home Run Derby, held last Sundayafternoon on a Wrigley-like McNamee Field at San Marino High School.Colleen Evans won the women’s championship.

    Robert Kral, 2010 San Marino National Little LeaguePresident and Titan baseball Coach Mack Paciorek staged the event to benefitboth organizations.

    Among the day’s many highlights was the dedication of a newflagpole at the ballpark that arrived courtesy of an anonymous donor. UnitedStates Marine and Viet Namveteran Lee Haslam performed the honor of raising the flag.
