• Street Work in South Pasadena

SOUTH PASADENA (CNS) – One of South Pasadena’s main drags will get a
center turning lane, starting a week from today.
Work to add a turning lane to Fair Oaks Avenue — also a part of
historic Route 66 — will start next Wednesday and take about 20 days, and
police warned that left turns, except at intersections, will be prohibited to
    keep traffic flowing.
Traffic will be narrowed to one lane in each direction during the day,
then open up to two lanes in each direction at night, police said.
Parking along Fair Oaks will be allowed, except in places where poles
    are being replaced.
